You can try with these:
- Look it up in a dictionary
- Try to sound out the word
- Go back and read it
- Look at the beginning of letters
- Look at the end of letters
- Skip the letters you don't know and read the end of the word
- Try to guess
- Does this word make sense?
- Look at the pictures
- Ask a friend or an adult
