Embrace and celebrate all of your students by using these simple ideas to enhance your classroom. Make sure that the posters and pictures in your classroom show men and women working at the same kind of jobs inside and outside the home. Your classroom posters should represent people of different races, ethnicity, and gender. Pictures and books you display should reflect this same variety. Finally, use a wide variety of music in your classroom that displays the cultures of the world.
